Kristi Hibler-Luton


Kristi has over 12 years of experience in public education. She has served as a science teacher, department chair, and instructional coach. Kristi is certified in science with supplemental certifications in ESL and GT and is a National Board Certified Teacher in science.  Kristi has written science curriculum, integrated technology, and outdoor learning into curriculum, and led professional development for Austin ISD. She has also served as a science mentor teacher in AISD through the Texas Regional Collaborative. Kristi has supported new teachers in her work as a Content Seminar Leader for Texas Teaching Fellows, an instructional coach for the New Teacher Project and University Facilitator and Field Supervisor for the University of Texas UTeach program.  Kristi now serves as the Texas Program Manager for EcoRise.

In her spare time, Kristi serves as the Director of National Board Certification for Teach for American in San Antonio, Texas. She also volunteers for the Travis County Master Gardeners and enjoys gardening with her kids in her NWF Certified Backyard Habitat.
